Sparklike

Sparklike

Measure. Verify. Ensure Quality.

Your Benefits

  • Non-destructive gas concentration measurement
  • No gas extraction required
  • Quality control during production
  • Suitable for double and triple glazed insulating glass units
  • Early detection of production deviations
  • Verification of specified gas fill levels
  • Reduced scrap and warranty claims
  • Proven technology trusted worldwide

HELANTEC is the authorised distributor of Sparklike products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Sparklike develops industry-leading instruments for the non-destructive measurement of gas concentration in insulating glass units (IGUs) and is recognised worldwide as a leading provider in this field.

While HELANTEC gas analysers determine gas concentration by analysing a gas sample, Sparklike instruments measure the gas concentration directly through the insulating glass unit—without gas extraction. This makes the technology ideal for production quality control, verification of gas fill levels and traceable quality assurance.

Non-destructive insulating gas measurement for reliable quality assurance.

Handheld NOVA

Handheld NOVA

Non-Destructive. Portable. Precise.

Highlights

  • Non-destructive argon measurement for double-glazed insulating glass units
  • Optional krypton measurement
  • Measurement result in approximately 2 seconds
  • Lightweight, battery-operated design
  • QR-code traceability with user-defined PASS/FAIL limits
  • Wireless data transfer
  • Web-based data analysis and trend monitoring
  • Measured units remain fully usable

Your Benefits

The Handheld NOVA enables the non-destructive measurement of argon concentration in double-glazed insulating glass units. Measurements are performed directly through the insulating glass unit—without gas extraction and without damaging the sealed unit. Optional krypton measurement is available.

Its lightweight, battery-operated design makes the Handheld NOVA ideal for production quality control. Within seconds, the instrument delivers reproducible measurement results and supports complete documentation of gas filling quality.

Measurement Technology

The Handheld NOVA uses Plasma Emission Spectroscopy (PES). A high-voltage spark is generated inside the cavity of the insulating glass unit, producing a light emission that is analysed to determine the argon concentration.

Fast, non-destructive verification of argon concentration in insulating glass units.

Laser Portable

Laser Portable

Precise. Versatile. Powerful.

Highlights

  • Non-destructive verification of insulating gas concentration
  • Suitable for double- and triple-glazed insulating glass units
  • Suitable for coated and laminated insulating glass units
  • Measures glass thickness, cavity widths and overall unit thickness
  • Portable, battery-powered operation with interchangeable battery
  • Large 12-inch touchscreen
  • Integrated barcode scanner for traceability
  • Robust transport case
  • Remote service and technical support

The Laser Portable enables non-destructive verification of insulating gas concentration in double- and triple-glazed insulating glass units, including units with coatings and laminated glass. Measurements are performed directly through the insulating glass unit, providing valuable information about gas fill quality—without damaging the unit.

Its portable, battery-powered design makes the Laser Portable ideal for quality control in insulating glass production. In addition to verifying the insulating gas concentration, the instrument measures glass thickness, cavity widths and the overall thickness of the insulating glass unit.

Measurement Technology

The Laser Portable uses TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) to determine the residual oxygen concentration within the cavity. Based on this measurement, the instrument calculates the insulating gas concentration without damaging the insulating glass unit. The non-contact measurement method delivers accurate, highly reproducible results and supports reliable verification of gas fill quality.

Fast, non-destructive verification of insulating gas concentration in insulating glass units.

Laser Integrated

Laser Integrated

Automatic. Precise. Comprehensive.

Highlights

  • Fully automatic, non-destructive verification of insulating gas concentration
  • Integration into existing insulating glass production lines
  • Inspection of every insulating glass unit produced
  • Continuous monitoring and optimisation of gas filling processes
  • Automatic documentation and traceability
  • Reduced inspection effort
  • Turnkey installation available
  • Measurement without manual intervention

Your Benefits

The Laser Integrated enables fully automatic, non-destructive verification of insulating gas concentration directly within the insulating glass production line. Designed for double- and triple-glazed insulating glass units, including coated and laminated units, the system continuously verifies gas fill quality without interrupting the production process.

Fully integrated into the production line, the Laser Integrated automatically inspects every insulating glass unit produced. Measurement data is recorded automatically, providing complete traceability, reliable quality assurance and continuous optimisation of the gas filling process.

Measurement Technology

The Laser Integrated uses TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy) to automatically determine the residual oxygen concentration within the cavity. Based on this measurement, the system calculates the insulating gas concentration without damaging the insulating glass unit. Operating directly within the production line, it delivers accurate, highly reproducible results for continuous verification of gas fill quality.

100% inspection for reliable quality assurance and cost-effective insulating glass production.
